The Carolina Panthers held their first practice of the week on Tuesday, as players were given Christmas Day off. The team saw four players absent from the session. Right tackle Taylor Moton was sidelined due to a knee issue, cornerback Jaycee Horn missed practice with a hip injury, and cornerback Chau Smith-Wade was out because of illness. Running back Chuba Hubbard was also not present as he was given the day to rest.

Head coach Dave Canales mentioned that the practice was conducted at "half-speed." Despite some absences, other team members participated fully in the session. This included Jadeveon Clowney (knee), Ikem Ekwonu (shoulder/illness), Cade Mays (illness), Josey Jewell (quadriceps/hamstring), Xavier Legette (hip/wrist), A'Shawn Robinson (knee), D.J. Wonnum (shoulder/knee), and Bryce Young (hamstring).

The Panthers are scheduled to return to practice on Thursday as they prepare for their upcoming game against Tampa Bay this weekend.
