The Carolina Panthers have announced that running back Miles Sanders is set to return to practice, offering the team an additional option for their final game of the season. Sanders has been sidelined since November 23 after suffering an ankle injury during a match against the Giants in Germany.
Before his injury, Sanders recorded 38 carries for 139 yards over ten games this season, serving as a backup to Chuba Hubbard. Hubbard has had a standout season with 1,195 yards and ten touchdowns.
Recently, the Panthers faced challenges in their backfield as they relied on running backs Raheem Blackshear and Mike Boone during their game against the Buccaneers. This was due to Hubbard being placed on injured reserve last Saturday because of a calf injury.
