The Carolina Panthers faced challenges in practice on Thursday as they prepared for their final regular season game against Atlanta. Seven players were absent, but the team saw the return of three starters to the field.

Right guard Robert Hunt and outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum returned after missing Wednesday's practice due to knee issues, with Hunt also resting. Both participated in a limited capacity. Cornerback Mike Jackson, who was resting previously, was back as a full participant.

Several players remained out of practice on Thursday. These included Amaré Barno (shoulder), Jaycee Horn (hip), Josey Jewell (concussion), Lonnie Johnson (shoulder/neck), A'Shawn Robinson (neck), and Taylor Moton, who is dealing with rest and knee concerns. Moton had been a limited participant on Wednesday and typically takes Thursdays off. Jadeveon Clowney also took a rest day.

Xavier Legette managed hip and wrist issues while Miles Sanders dealt with an ankle problem; both were limited participants. Nick Scott, recovering from an illness, was able to fully participate in practice.
