The City of Charlotte's Housing Services Division is seeking input from community members for the development of its 5-year Consolidated Plan for 2025-2029. This plan is necessary to secure federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for several key programs.

These programs include the Community Development Block Grant (CBDG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). The feedback gathered will help shape initiatives that address community needs, prioritize resources, create sustainable living environments, develop affordable housing, expand economic opportunities, and support special populations.

"We value your voice and encourage you to contribute to this important planning process," said a representative from the Housing Services Division. Community members are invited to participate in a survey to provide their thoughts and ideas.
