The Carolina Panthers have commenced their voluntary offseason workouts, marking the beginning of preparations for the 2025 NFL season. Although these sessions are not as physically demanding, they are essential for team bonding, as noted by quarterback Bryce Young. "Yeah, it is voluntary, but we love being here," Young stated, highlighting the team's enthusiasm and commitment to the process.

The Panthers are approaching an important milestone with the NFL Draft. Currently holding the No. 8 overall pick and a total of nine picks, the team has the opportunity to enhance its roster with new talent. However, Young appears unfazed by the draft discussion, choosing instead to concentrate on current workouts. "(It's) kind of wait to see, obviously," Young remarked, emphasizing the front office's role in the drafting process.

Young's journey with the Panthers began when he was selected as the No. 1 overall pick two years ago. Despite a challenging rookie year, Young improved significantly in his second season, achieving a 61.8 percent completion rate and leading the team to crucial victories. Coach Dave Canales praised Young's consistency, which he showcased throughout the past season even during difficult times.

Reflecting on his experience, Young offers advice to future first-round picks: "Yeah, just to be yourself, you know, obviously, you want to buy in and learn at the next level," stressing the importance of maintaining individuality while adapting to professional demands.

Young is not the only one exhibiting growth. Xavier Legette, a second-year receiver with a history of memorable performances, is also proving his potential. Young is particularly impressed with Legette's development, saying, "You could see the focus the entire offseason. It's different from someone trying to figure out a new playbook."

"Now that it's the second year in it, we kind of got the kinks out," Young expressed, indicating his readiness to build on last year's experiences.
