Congratulation to Charlotte Fire Department, Charlotte NC for winning the 2021 Chief’s Cup! It was a great night for baseball at the Charlotte Knights stadium. The Chief’s Cup is hosted by The Charlotte Salute to Heroes Foundation to honor current heroes and those that made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The Charlotte Fire Department Pipes and Drums Band performed as well as a retired CMPD officers performed Taps. The game ended with a patriotic-themed fireworks show. See you all next year!
