City of Charlotte issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
The City of Charlotte scored an A- for CDP, a non-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts.
This is an improvement from the C grade received last year. Out of the 1,002 cities scored, only 12% received an A.
The world’s economy looks to CDP as the gold standard of environmental reporting with the richest and most comprehensive corporate and city action dataset.
