As Andy Dalton continues to rise on the all-time NFL lists, his teammates have begun to take notice of his impressive career achievements. Despite being 36 years old and in his 14th NFL season, Dalton's statistics place him among some of the best quarterbacks in history. He has thrown for 39,050 yards and 251 touchdowns, ranking him 26th and tied for 24th all-time, respectively.

Veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen expressed surprise upon learning about Dalton's standing: "I did not know that." Center Austin Corbett acknowledged Dalton's accomplishments, saying, "That's a lot of high-level ball."

Dalton is just three touchdowns away from tying Hall of Famer Dan Fouts and only 22 touchdown passes short of Joe Montana. His passing yards exceed those of 17 Hall of Fame quarterbacks like Jim Kelly and Steve Young.

Discussing his influences growing up in Texas, Dalton mentioned Peyton Manning, Troy Aikman, and Brett Favre as players he admired. "There wasn't one guy that I was like, oh, I want to be like him someday," he said.

Despite spending time as a backup in recent years with Dallas and Chicago, Panthers head coach Dave Canales praised Dalton's current performance: "He's just played fantastic ball."

Tight end Tommy Tremble shared respect for Dalton: "It's special to be around" someone he's watched since childhood. Tremble added that seeing Dalton continue to perform at a high level is inspiring.

Dalton remains focused on making plays rather than dwelling on his age or career statistics. As Corbett noted earlier, he's been playing "a lot of high-level ball."
