The Carolina Panthers are adjusting their lineup for the game against the Chicago Bears due to injuries. Both starting linebackers, Josey Jewell and Shaq Thompson, will not be playing. Jewell is sidelined with groin and hamstring issues, while Thompson is on injured reserve after tearing his Achilles. In their absence, rookies Trevin Wallace and Claudin Cherelus are expected to start at inside linebacker.

For the Panthers, other players inactive for today's game include safety Russ Yeast, running back Mike Boone, offensive linemen Andrew Raym and Jarrett Kingston, and defensive end Jayden Peevy. On a positive note for the team, veteran nose tackle Shy Tuttle returns after missing two games due to a foot injury. LaBryan Ray is anticipated to start at defensive end.

Additionally, the Panthers have activated defensive tackle T.J. Smith and outside linebacker Thomas Incoom from the practice squad as standard elevations for Week 5.

On the Bears' side, their inactives list includes wide receiver Velus Jones, fullback Khari Blasingame, defensive back Terrell Smith, and defensive linemen Dominque Robinson and Zacch Pickens.
