Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor are set to headline the "Concert for Carolina," a benefit show aimed at raising funds for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. The event will take place on October 26 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. This initiative is presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority.

The concert will be hosted by ESPN's Marty Smith and Barstool Sports' Caleb Pressley. Additional artists are expected to join the lineup, though they have yet to be announced.

The idea for the concert came about as news of Hurricane Helene's devastation spread over the weekend. A call to David Tepper, owner of the Carolina Panthers and Bank of America Stadium, along with his wife Nicole Tepper, resulted in their generous offer of the stadium as a venue.

Tickets will be available starting Thursday, October 10 at 10:00 am ET. Further details can be found on www.concertforcarolina.com. Proceeds from the event will be divided equally between Combs and Church's Chief Cares Foundation. These funds will support various organizations involved in relief efforts across the Carolinas and Southeast.

Combs plans to distribute his share among Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, and another organization yet to be named. Meanwhile, Church's Chief Cares Foundation focuses on aiding well-managed charities that provide direct assistance to families affected by the hurricane.

For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, donations can be made through The North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund or other organizations listed on www.concertforcarolina.com.

The concert is supported by several sponsors including David and Nicole Tepper and Tepper Sports & Entertainment, Explore Asheville, T-Mobile, Atrium Health, Jack Daniel's, Whataburger, Miller Lite and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Luke Combs hails from Asheville and has deep ties to North Carolina. He began his musical journey while attending Appalachian State University in Boone. Eric Church also started his career in Western North Carolina before moving to Nashville. Despite being from Michigan, Billy Strings considers North Carolina a significant part of his life due to its supportive fan base. James Taylor spent much of his childhood in Chapel Hill where he developed many influences for his music.

Explore Asheville serves as the official destination marketing organization for western North Carolina's mountain region under the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority since 1983.
