Toronto FC II opened the scoring in the 16th minute when they slipped their first goal past Crown Legacy's goalkeeper Chituru Odunze. A penalty kick awarded to Toronto in the 23rd minute increased their lead to 2-0. Dylan Sing responded with a goal for Crown Legacy shortly after, but it was not enough to change the course of the game.
Toronto FC II ultimately claimed victory with a final score of 4-1. The result did not affect Crown Legacy's playoff ambitions as they managed to clinch a spot despite this setback.
