Crown Legacy FC midfielder Aron John has been named to the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI. The accolade, decided by coaches and technical staff, recognizes John's impressive performance throughout the season.

John, referred to as AJ by his team, led the league with 10 assists, matching the single-season record. Assistant General Manager Bobby Belair expressed his satisfaction with John's recognition: "We are thrilled that AJ is earning recognition across the league for his consistent performances this season," said Belair. "AJ’s work ethic, natural leadership, and hunger to reach his potential has made him a top player in MLS NEXT Pro."

At just 18 years old, John also scored eight goals, bringing his total goal contributions to 18 and placing him third in the league. Before signing his first professional contract on July 12, he was voted June's Rising Star of the Month.

This achievement makes John the second Crown Legacy FC player to be honored in this way; defender João Pedro received similar recognition during the club's inaugural season in 2023.

Crown Legacy FC is set to compete in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals of the MLS NEXT Pro Cup against FC Cincinnati 2 on Sunday, October 20 at NKU Soccer Stadium.
