Charlotte FC's assistant coach, Pa-Modou Kah, has left the club to assume the head coaching position at Phoenix Rising FC, a USL team. The announcement was made on November 18, 2024.
General Manager Zoran Krneta commented on Kah's departure: “Pa has been a valuable member of our coaching staff for the past two seasons, which has seen back-to-back playoff qualifications.” He added that "the head coaching role at Phoenix is an excellent opportunity for Pa," and extended his best wishes for Kah's future endeavors.
Kah joined Charlotte FC before the start of the 2023 season. Prior to this role, he served as head coach for Pacific FC in the Canadian Premier League and North Texas SC in MLS NEXT Pro.
Phoenix Rising ended their 2024 USL Championship season in eighth place within the Western Conference.
