Charlotte Fire Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer; it is colorless, odorless & tasteless, making it difficult for you to know when you are at risk. Install CO Alarms in a central location and on every level. When one sounds, immediately move to fresh air & call 9-1-1.
