City of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
Congratulations to Dr. Josh Fisher, Director of CMPD Animal Care and Control, on his recent re-election to a 3rd term as President of the National Animal Care & Control Association!
Dr. Fisher was first elected to the NACA board in 2020. He has served as President since 2021 and has been a leader in presenting animal welfare topics and trending animal sheltering topics at top national animal welfare conferences across the country for many years.
Dr. Fisher joined AC&C nearly 8 years ago and has worked in Animal Welfare for more than 20 years.
His involvement with NACA highlights CMPD’s AC&C as a national leader, setting an example for communities across the country.
