City of Charlotte Fire Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 4.
Charlotte Fire is looking to hire certified Firefighter/EMT with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Applicants will attend an accelerated 14 week academy class regardless of previous education or experience, tentatively scheduled to begin this summer. Applicants/candidates must participate in physical fitness training, adherence to all standards, rules, guidelines, and requirements set forth by the fitness coordinator, training staff and departments general orders.
The application period is January 5-25.
