The $160,000 donation will be allocated to several key areas. Firstly, funds will go towards quarterly corridor cleanups, ensuring that the corridors are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing for residents and visitors alike. Additionally, the donation will contribute to the rehabilitation of three Corridor Opportunity Hubs, which serve as important community spaces for various activities and services. Lastly, the funds will cover the logistics costs for the Corridors Connect event series, which aims to bring together community members and stakeholders to foster collaboration and engagement.
The Corridors of Opportunity program has been instrumental in implementing projects that aim to build diverse and resilient communities, integrate the natural and built environment, develop safe and equitable mobility, retain culture and identity, and grow healthy, active, and safe communities.
