WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tonight, Senator Thom Tillis voted in favor of the $95 billion foreign aid package providing funding for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, which passed the Senate in a bipartisan vote.

In a statement regarding his support for the funding, Senator Tillis emphasized the critical nature of the decision, stating, "America faces unprecedented threats as Communist China, Putin’s Russia, and the terrorist state of Iran incite conflict and chaos across the globe."

Senator Tillis further explained the importance of supporting these countries at this time, saying, “Ignoring the lessons of history by turning our backs on Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan during this critical time would have emboldened our adversaries and guaranteed a far more dangerous world for us to navigate in the months and years ahead.”
