Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and the Arts & Science Council will unveil a new flood marker, named "Diver," on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The event is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Toby Creek at Mallard Creek in Charlotte, NC. Attendees are advised that parking will be available at Kirk Farm Field, located at 201 E. Mallard Creek Church Road.
The flood marker aims to raise awareness about flood risks and water safety in the community. This initiative is part of broader efforts by local authorities to enhance public understanding of environmental challenges and preparedness measures.
