CHARLOTTE — After trading away a rookie linebacker earlier Thursday, the Panthers signed another one. The team added linebacker Aaron Beasley following a workout.
To accommodate Beasley on the roster, they waived-injured offensive lineman Badara Traore. Beasley went undrafted after five years at Tennessee, where he was the leading tackler in 2022 with 76 tackles and the second-leading tackler in 2023 with 69 tackles.
Earlier Thursday, the Panthers traded seventh-round pick Michael Barrett to the Seahawks in exchange for cornerback Mike Jackson.
