The Carolina Panthers faced a challenging Thursday practice as several key defensive players were absent. Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was notably missing for the second consecutive day due to a shoulder injury sustained in last week's game, which forced him to leave during the first half.
Joining Clowney on the sidelines were center Austin Corbett, who is dealing with a biceps issue; linebacker Josey Jewell, suffering from hamstring and groin injuries; right tackle Taylor Moton, out with an elbow problem; center Andrew Raym and tight end Tommy Tremble, both sidelined by concussions; and defensive end A'Shawn Robinson, who has an ankle injury.
Some players participated in a limited capacity during Thursday's session. Left tackle Ikem Ekwonu and wide receiver Diontae Johnson are both managing elbow and ankle injuries respectively. Tight end Ian Thomas (calf) and cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring) also had restricted participation.
On a positive note for the team, wide receiver Xavier Legette was able to fully participate in practice despite his previous shoulder concerns.
