LANDOVER, Md. — JJ Jansen, a veteran long snapper for the Panthers and host of the internet series "Cart Talk," is set to play his 250th career game today in Washington. This achievement places him among only 59 players in NFL history to reach this milestone.
Jansen will share this accomplishment with Dolphins defensive end Calais Campbell, who is also playing his 250th game today during the 1 p.m. matchup. Both players will be tied for 55th place on the all-time list.
They join notable names such as longtime Jets kicker Pat Leahy, former Lions kicker Eddie Murray, and Eugene Robinson, a former safety for several teams including the Seahawks and Panthers. Robinson currently contributes to the Panthers Radio Network's pregame and postgame shows.
Looking ahead to next week, both Jansen and Campbell are expected to tie with Mike Kenn, a longtime Falcons tackle, for 54th place all-time with 251 games played.
Jansen became the Panthers' all-time leader in games played in 2022 when he surpassed former kicker John Kasay, a close friend from whom he purchased a house in South Charlotte.
