The Carolina Panthers faced a narrow defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12, with a final score of 30-27. Quarterback Bryce Young threw his fifth touchdown of the season to wide receiver David Moore during a 15-play drive. Young ended the game with 263 passing yards and a passer rating of 92.9.

Running back Chuba Hubbard scored on a one-yard rush, marking his third consecutive game with a rushing touchdown. He achieved over 1,000 scrimmage yards for the second straight season.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen surpassed Drew Pearson for fourth place in receiving yards by an undrafted free agent in NFL history. Moore caught his first touchdown as a Panther and led the team with six catches for 81 yards.

Defensively, Jadeveon Clowney recorded two sacks against Patrick Mahomes, while DeShawn Williams contributed to one sack. D.J. Wonnum also sacked Mahomes and linebacker Josey Jewell reached several career milestones including his tenth sack.

Kicker Eddy Piñeiro successfully made all four field goal attempts and both PATs, continuing his streak at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers' defense managed five sacks against the Chiefs, their highest this season.

Panthers' rookie Jonathon Brooks debuted with two carries for seven yards. Safety Sam Franklin Jr. had four special teams tackles.

Despite scoring their second-highest points allowed by the Chiefs this season, the Panthers fell short in securing victory.
