Guard Robert Hunt has been named a second alternate, running back Chuba Hubbard a fourth alternate, and punter Johnny Hekker a fifth alternate. While they may not participate in the event held in Orlando, Florida, this acknowledgment highlights their noteworthy performances during the season. Cornerback Jaycee Horn was the only Panther selected directly to this year's Pro Bowl.

Hunt's contributions are notable yet challenging to measure statistically. He played all 967 offensive snaps for the Panthers, showcasing his durability and skill since joining from Miami last offseason. His presence has helped improve the team's offensive line performance significantly compared to last year when they allowed 65 sacks.

Hubbard's achievements are more evident through statistics. He set career highs with 1,195 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns and earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors following an impressive game against the Cardinals. The team extended his contract midseason as recognition of his hard work and leadership qualities.

Hekker's selection reflects his long-standing excellence as a punter. Known for his consistent performance over years, he recently moved up on the league's all-time list for punts inside the 20-yard line. This season alone, he has punted 70 times with an average of 45.5 yards per punt.
