The Carolina Panthers provided several players with rest days on Wednesday as they prepare for their upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals. Among those who did not participate in practice due to rest were running back Chuba Hubbard, wide receiver Adam Thielen, cornerback Jaycee Horn, linebacker Josey Jewell, and safety Xavier Woods.

Outside linebackers Jadeveon Clowney and D.J. Wonnum were also absent from practice. Clowney was dealing with an illness and knee issues, while Wonnum was resting his knee. Safety Sam Franklin Jr. missed practice for neck and personal reasons, while wide receiver Xavier Legette was sidelined with a hip injury. Veteran defensive end A'Shawn Robinson was out due to a knee problem.

Wide receiver David Moore participated in practice on a limited basis following a concussion. Running back Raheem Blackshear fully participated despite a chest issue.
